They’re just desktop mic stands from On-Stage Stands. 6” base on them that’s pretty heavy, so they feel stable enough. Sounds better to me than being at desk level with the included Adam stands.
My small dawless setup with 3D printed dust covers and stand designed by me.
Live setup signal flow is M:C > MS60B (hack) > DT > PA
Volca Drum is used only to record one shots into the DT through the MS60B
I need a small summing box so I don’t have to disconnect the M:C every time I want to record the Volca.
Yes I love drum machines.
appreciate it! how’ve the D3Vs treated you so far? my space is a little too small for bigger monitors and i’m trying to officially retire my KRK Rokit 5s in place of something i can check rough mixes on.
I think they’re great, and going to be a lot more revealing than Rockits probably. I do have them augmented with a Presonus Eris 8 sub, which is all the low I need in this smaller room.
Gonna see how these two play together. Jury’s still out on the Cumulus, it just arrived today as a Christmas gift to myself. It sounds good, just hoping it’s not too buggy.
Methinks it’s a entanglement space
correct!
I have no idea what this is on their site, but for some reason I can’t stop dicking around with it.
Please tell me the meaning of this strange word?
Its a synonym for ‘charmingly naive’
I’d love to buy some kind of effects unit (or an ipad) to go with my DT2 and DN2 but my current workflow is using usb audio out to record videos directly from my phone to share on yt etc.
From what I understand if I brought an fx pedal I’d then need to buy a mixer and then also by a recorder of some kind as it seems mixers don’t do USB audio out?
Then I’d need to film it and sync the audio and video. Seems like so much work!
do you like samplers?
