Absolutely phenomenal!!
Wow, absolutely killer job. I had a similar experience when trying to find the elusive āperfect studio deskā and ended up learning some woodworking to just build exactly what I wanted. But I designed mine with certain constraints as a guide - minimizing the complexity of techniques, limiting the number of tools required, transportation and budget considerations, etc. But you really did go all out, no compromises! Probably my favorite setup yet.
Just rearranged my Setup:
Still have a volca fm, po 32 and a nutekt.
Need to Figure out the microfreak if it fits for me.
Absolutely stunning.
Itās a cheap (Ā£9) laptop stand from ebay.
Iāve put some sticky velcro pads on the base arms to secure it from sliding.
At the minute it only goes into the Digitone.
I can fairly easily swap it out to the A4 and Tracker but am definitely open to suggestions on how I could switch it to play them better?
Dayum⦠next level.
Thank you. Yeah I had 2 voices on their way out. I did the chip refurb process and only one of them came back to life. I figure the professionals can take it from here. Getting that epoxy mess out from some areas of those voice boards is more delicate than I have patience for.
To be able to design and realize my own racks, desks and supports itās one of my dreams, that will never be true, for a total lack of ability, skills, space and time
Your work is amazing!!!
the infamous elektron lamp is back.
Incredible!
Next challenge: Replicate your Mac Pro case in wood!
Bonus: You can then use the original case as a wood plane!
The metal dissipates heat.
Woodā¦burns.
procrastination or not , its beautiful. I donāt think it is, you will want to spend a lot of time in there!
This is a post I made about using keystep as master controller, the pitfalls and workarounds.
Interesting setup. Iāve had the same issues when trying to use the keystep as master clock. Iām not eager enough to get the KS playing all 3 devices to jump through too many hoops to achieve it, but if I do Iāll be sure to let you know
Very nice achievement
Wow, you even have a dust collection system with a homemade sawdust extractor. Youāve definitely been down some YouTube rabbit holes.
Oh yeah, so since I made that post I was able to get a satisfactory setup with the keystep controlling everything downstream from the tempest.
Oh yeah, itās awful. I had the same thing happen at first but my stubbornness won and soon I was custom grinding and shaping dental tools to get all of that goop with the aid of some hefty magnifying glasses. If your tech is good and not too expensive Iād recommend having him do all of them. Sooner or later theyāll all need the same treatment.
Absolutely, thatās the plan.
Grinding dental tools to fine point? Yup, that sounds 100% right!
