I think that train already left long time ago man, this “little” modular venture is just an extrension of my already acute gas detail which have been in a steady mode progress since a long time ago, it´s just a different way of cable managment
I just want to add the Atlantix to my hardware based rig, have it a case with it`s own sequencer and fx so I can just sync it to whatever setup I choose form time to time, you right no use to pair it with a simple sequencer just because it fits the rack, better to case it in a bit larger one so it can have quality fx also…
I think Atlantix + Metropolix + Sealegs would be a terrific combination, but seriously take a look at Cascadia, no sequencer or FX apart from drive, but there is so much there in a compact form, and if you have those other components in your main rig this will fit in quite nicely.
I can’t recommend the Cascadia enough. It’s terrific, so flexible, well built, and the sound it’s spectacular.
Agreed
I recommend 1U Bib from Plinky maker as multi fx unit with drive or wavefolder + multi tap delay + reverb with shimmer all at the same time. It can also double as preamp for external line level and headphone driver with a volume control available after the blend without removing the modular I/O, it sounds great really and it could replace the Befaco out too!
Another great little sequencer that would work well with the atlantix, is the 4ms Catalyst sequencer. The alternate mode (with reversible panel) is an excellent controller as well. Very hands on, with a ton of options. https://4mscompany.com/catseq
Nice work!!!
I always wanted to build one of those
The Cascadia looks good…
Mmmm
Turing machine, disting for quantizer as sequencer and for reverb mfx or fx aid xl.
I had the Atlantis and was on my mind since I sold it but recently I bought a SV-1b and I love it, very good selection of module in a stand alone box with midi and out built in
Hey hey! I made a mega shootout again, this time with Complex Oscillators. Come say hi if you’re here now for premiere
Brilliant!
Mine has suddenly gotten much smaller since I acquired the DN2. I woke up last Saturday and ran down in the basement to build this setup out of some scrap wood and a Moog 60hp skiff.
The uO_C is a Calsynth Teensy 4.0 build running Squares and Circles which gives you 4 slots into which you can load a bunch of percussion machines, any of the Braids or Plaits engines, or Rings. Plus it has a selection of FX, CV utilities, etc. and tons of internal modulation, and TRS MIDI. Highly recommended if you have a small setup.
I’m also thinking about making myself smaller.
What kind of iPad stand do you use?
Shrinking yourself by 33% is probably a lot cheaper than getting into 4U
It makes 4U feel more like 5U! (better yet 6U Wiard 300!!)
Nice one!!! Thanks for all the time and work you must have put into this one…
PS Did you replace the rogan alpha style knobs for RB-67’s on the 259t ?? Looks even better
