Yellow > White (DT, DN/K screen)

Where did you see the question mark?

wow! and I thought my OCD was bad…

i commend you for going through all the hassle to change the display colours!!
my route was easier, just only keep the syntakt and octatrack AE, beautiful pair together

I didn’t. I was suggesting that a question mark could have worked if that was the case.

Anyone have thoughts on if it will be possible to swap a yellow screen into the new DT2? I find the white screens in the new digi boxes harsh on the eyes, both in terms of aesthetic and brightness

Unfortunately, the display board is not pluggable, otherwise I would swap the white display with the yellow one from my old DT. As I only own a simple desoldering pump, the risk of losing the warranty is too high for me.

There’s a 20 pin header on the back of the display PCB, no? See Airyck’s picture above with the original PCB on the right.

Edit: Just checked mine, the 20 pin header is indeed soldered directly to the motherboard. Straightforward desolder, but not something you’d want to do while it has warranty.
