XSynth - Controller / Synth from ESI

About to be released, a super portable, rugged, controller with poly-aftertouch and polyphonic synthesis. It can even be used as a sound interface. Reasonably priced as well.

Post from NAMM 2025 with current video.

Will be showing at Superbooth 2025 this coming week. Look for more videos here soon.

It’s new enough that it has not made their product page yet. Check back there later.

This looks fabulous. Features-to-size ratio is impressive, and very affordable. Think I heard reverb/delay but their website doesn’t explicitly mention it - presumably that’s implied by FX.

I wonder if the CME Supernova cover will still fit…?

damn that’s $417 trump dollars and 45 JD cents!!!
who knows what that will cost once it gets overhere… really like what they did with this synth though and I love instruments that beg you to take them with you…
well done

i’ve always been searching for a compact midi keyboard with built in audio interface. but this one is too expensive. and i assume the synth part won’t be worth the extra cost for my use case

If it’s any help (& you’re in the UK) Juno have it on preorder at the moment for £227

Ordered from Juno to the US. $264 total. Should get it in a couple of days.

Their quickstart guide doesn’t make it clear, is it possible to program the synth from its interface itself or is the editor mandatory one way or another?

They mentioned in one of the Superbooth videos that everything can be edited on the synth itself. The editor just makes it easier to do.

Very good decision from ESI. By the way, ESI used to be a brand under EMU at Creative, so is this technically the first EMU synthesizer since forever?
