wondering if a K1/K2 + USB->MIDI cable would be a good replacement for my Akai MPD32.

I imagine it would make a great controller but you would need more than just a USB-MIDI cable as they don’t work this way round - the Elektron device can’t act as a USB host so you’d need something else as a go between to act as the USB host
I’ve used DOREMIDI hosts for this. K2 is really dope.

Any issues with the Doremidi hosts? I’ve just been looking at them for a Launchcontrol xl.
