Xone 96 is being discontinued?

Hi guys, I was looking for a dj mixer and been studying the last few weeks. In the end I choose the Xone:96 (for connectivity and routing reasons) over the Model 1, but that isn’t the point.
The point is that I was looking for a new unit and most of the shops seem to not have it in stock and do not know when or if it will be back. I even found several sites reporting the label “discontinued”, but I cannot find any official information about it being discontinued.
I imagine it would be kind of a big thing if that’d be case.
In the end, I snatched a new unit for 1,9k euros, which I think is a nice price point, from a shop that still had a unit in the storage, they were discounting 30% off the usual retail price.

So, do you know any rumours about the Xone 96 being discontinued?

What do you think would be next for A&H if that’s so?

They released the new CQ digital mixer line not too long ago so maybe there’s something new coming which can compete with the V10. But I also see that Pioneer is dominating the market so maybe some resellers just ditch A&H. On the other hand I heard them complain that the margins for Pioneer gear are tiny.

Despite that, high end DJ gear seem to be a scarce commodity. I experienced similar things with the Pioneer v10 and CDJs except that they were not declared as discontinued. I think one reason is that this stuff breaks rather quickly because how it get tortured in the booth.
