…title tells it all…

Not sure…
Had a DB4 and a MODEL1…
Both returned (DB4) and eventually sold (MODEL1) for bad (none) driver support for DB4 and poor quality control resulting in technical issues for MODEL1…

…sad to hear, their consumer class models showed issues…
but a xone is a xone…their top pro series…never saw a xone, that could not keep it’s promises…
it’s a tough market challenge, to kik pioneer off one of their thrones in this segment…and woow, they really did it with their xone series…

Never had a chance to own a 92. Though I used one a couple of times and it felt sturdy.
I know I had bad luck with both units but still, at that price range, QC should have been top notch. And it was not. Far from it.
Would now doubt buying an A&H unit to be honest… Sad but true.

Releasing something without months of leaks, teasers and batshit speculation?

I’m out.

Interesting, I assumed the 96 replaced the 92. Couldn’t see the price on this, but it’s a fantastic mixer so I’m happy to see it still going!

:joy:

Only ever owned Xone mixers for DJing. I’ve used Pioneer DJ mixers and they are fine, but I’ll always be a Xone fanboy. Just a joy to mix on. I’ve had a 43 for years and years now and it has some miles on it. Never had a single issue or needed to repair anything.

Is this the first DJ mixer with an LFO? Cool. I don’t know what is going on in club land that LFOs are needed for DJing but I like it

My best guess would be instead of fiddling with the filter knob you just use the LFO, playing with the rate gives more movement than tweaking a knob while also freeing one hand for other stuff while the filter modulation keeps going.

Back the beast!

Besides removal of filter pop, inclusion of Innofader and updated RIAA they updated ith with adjustable channel fader curve. Nice addition, I know some people hated curve on it.

Odd. This one’s been up for pre-order at a shop here in Canada for a while. I clicked this thread this morning thinking it was one that I missed from a few weeks ago.

Edit: It’s actually in stock there for anyone in Canada interested in one:

So someone did leak it…

But no one gave a shit.

Seems people care much more about grooveboxes these days than pro mixers…

Checks out.

Love A&H mixers. Their analog filter is why I use Xone:23 at home.

I use a XONE:PX5 and it’s rock solid - has been a good buy.

If this 92 had been around when I bought it I might have ended up with it instead; would defo make use of the dual filters and the double mids.

This is a small, but big improvement. As is the innofader. This is a company that has listened to feedback.

That’s not the same one.

That’s the “limited edition” which is referenced in the copy for the new one:

Building on the Xone:92’s revered legacy and featuring hardware enhancements from the acclaimed Xone:92 Limited Edition, we’ve added silent VCF switching, a new custom innoFADER® crossfader, and a collection of precision upgrades that preserve the legendary 92 DNA while improving performance.

Nice, have always liked Xones and the 92 is and remains A&H’s most iconic DJ mixer. I moved from a 62 to a PX5 to now a 96 myself as I needed the sound card. And for my studio setup nearly got a 464 (talking about a classic that could use a revamp!) but ended up with a MixWizard that’s 20 years old and still works perfectly. So A&H all the way here!
