XDJ-XZ any one use it in analog setup?

it looks like it had 2 dedicated channels for synts + 2 line + 2 xdj style channels.

My neighbor had the little brother of the XZ and he let me use it a few times to record mixes/mess around with it occasionally. Used the XZ in bar shows a few times too but just for dj work. It works fine as a mixer for hardware synths, but it is kind of expensive and tedious if your goal is more than mostly DJ work with a little bit of hardware jamming/recording in your down time. Pioneer’s equipment sounds really good for what it tries to do: amply your signal in a very clean and sterile way so the full vibe of the track can be felt by the floor, but don’t expect the effects and EQs to do anything magical to an unmastered, roughly mixed track without some external “mastering-in-a-box” gear.

Not sure where you are getting that channel count from. While there are two mic pres on the device, they really are meant for mics, and their out-of-the-way controls might become cumbersome if you are also planning to plug in turntables or other sources. I’d really look at the machine as a 4+2 channel device rather than a 6 channel device if you want to do anything more than set-and-forget with the mic channels.

Unless you have other Pioneer gear, specifically the Toriaz SP-16 or the DJS-1000, the time based effects and integrating a fluid XDJ-deck-to-hardware-song mix will be a nightmare if your hardware doesn’t have a way to nudge the tempo. There is no real way to send MIDI out of the device that I know of, I remember someone was working on a Link hack but idk how far it is/how easy it is to do. Rekordbox does have Ableton Link capabilities, but that might be a whole mess you don’t want to get in to if you are looking for a streamlined set up.

Honestly no one makes a good all-in-one DJ tool that lets you integrate decks with synths. Unless your setup is very specific, or you are a DJ first and a hardware noodler second, I’d recommend splitting the two realms apart unless you are comfortable with having your computer handle the syncing between the devices.
