Going through a box of stuff, I found this thing. It has a 1/4" jack on one end and mini-USB on the other, but no markings on the body. Any idea what it is?

Some kind of DAC and/or interface? Does your computer recognise it if you plug it in?

Yea definitely 3D printed.

Iā€™d guess itā€™s either to be used as a ā€˜Mic inā€™ or as a Headphone out.

Is it TRS?

It does look vaguely familiar to me, but I simply canā€™t remember the thing. It makes sense that Iā€™d have gotten something in the past as an audio in, but when I plugged it into the MacBook just now, it wasnā€™t recognized. That doesnā€™t mean it didnā€™t come with a driver.

I canā€™t tell if itā€™s TRS.

I guess Iā€™m about to toss it since I havenā€™t missed it for years. Interestingly, it was in the same box as the missing speaker stand set screws from this thread, so now I have way too many of those.
