I’ve had this hefty chunk of music I’ve been working on for a while now, and since the new OS was released I’ve only explored the trig conditions, and the silky bass drum :ooh:.
I think I was hesitant to really dig deep and change much because I had invested so much in one project.

Anyways the other night I was casually working on a different project, and when I went to save, I saved over my beloved project I had put so much work in. Not only on the AR but my A4 as well. Total clueless mistake. I hadn’t backed anything up since December, which took me back to the basic structure before I did a bunch of tweaking and polishing trying to finish up.

After a few days of devastation I dove back in and started exploring all the new machines.

Each kick machine really has found it’s way into my project bringing new life and sweet spots I didn’t know I needed to find.
The hats and cymbals are anywhere from silky to gritty and loose or tight.

I went form being devastated about loosing work to delighted I made the mistake.

Wow you must have felt pretty bad ! Glad to hear that you manage to return the situation !!
Indeed, the two last OS brought a lot !!

I also realized I didn’t completely understand the “legacy effects” settings when it was released.
Anything I ever said about the effects being quiet, I take it all back.

i’m looking forward to get back to the machines and try the new OS on the AR as i’ve been reading quiet few nice comments about it :slight_smile: :smirk:

edit: yeah, and i think i’ll probably start from scratch (again) …aach, will i ever get to have some proppa time with those boxes!? :confused::musical_score:
