Would anybody be interested in a DnB battle?

I haven’t made Jungle / D&B for years/decades, but I think it would be fun!

I have close to no time, but if I can squeeze in a quick track I will!!

Gotta get Stazma on this

No way.

I was gonna say just have one of the breaks I’ll dig up in there somewhere, but I kinda want this to be a free for all, just everyone sticks to the theme!

Im not starting it until beginning of December.

Think I’m going to program my beats.

Just watched the Captain Pikant Amen break video, and it gave me some ideas

I’m in. Love DnB. Was my first attempt to make music back in 2004’.
I remember, I used Fruity Loops v1 or 2 cracked a friend gave me on a CD.
Discovered a new world.

Yeah it’s shitty but I think it was one of my first track I ever made after understanding how fruity loops worked.

Can I submit a track that I made like a decade ago?

Or should we cook something fresh?

Needed a reason to not just dabble with Renoise but actually figure it out. Looking forward to this!

Fresh beats always taste better :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

In! I don’t know the codes of DnB but good time to learn something new. If you have some good references I would be interested

Take a look at stranjahs YouTube channel plenty of good content on there to get you started, drum pattern programming, bass lines etc… and its super easy to follow, he uses Ableton mostly but I’ve found all of his tips to be transferable to other environments…:+1:

Let’s go fresh. Then we can compare the older track to your fresh one.

But of course, we would never know either way what you submit.

if there’s a theme, limitations and/or strict sample guidelines if a tune made ages ago matches up that’s some clairvoyance’n’bass.

also why wait until the hip hop one’s over? let’s get things rolling, multiple simultaneous battles is fine with me

I’m waiting out of respect to them.

Plus, I’m working on submitting to the Hiphop battle.

But I totally agree, more “battles” the better.
