Phew! Glad that game is done.
It’s concealed carry almost everywhere. The World Cup being here in Atlanta made me a bit concerned for all the international visitors, as the stadium is in one of the worst parts. No incidents though.
I’m sad to say I don’t have enough fingers to count all the people I know who’ve been shot, and until we moved in October we’d hear shootouts at night on a regular basis. We moved because our neighbors in the apartment next to us were killed in their unit, while my fiancé was home in bed with 8 inches of wall between her and the bullets. They found a body behind those apartments this morning. It’s out of control.

Very impressed with some of England’s stats. Shots inside box! We’ve come a long way as a team!
Edit: I’ll add, headed attempts, plus a higher Xg than France.
Just need to shoot more from outside the box, although you probably score 1 in 10 like that, so not that important.
We need to get past Argentina. They’re good, obviously, but believe it or not they (their fans) fear us a bit.
And quite rightly, too. We have a great record against them overall, they’ve never beaten us at the World Cup (I’m not counting QF 86, as we all know what happened there. I’ll count that as a draw).

Mate, I’ve looked forward to every England match for a very long time, even when we’ve underperformed!
Last saw England at Wembley, we beat Rep of Ireland 5-0, was great! The cheeky buggers have a lot of the same chants we do… they’re a good bunch though.
England have the best chance to win it they’ve had since 66, beat Norway, beat Argentina, beat France (or perhaps someone else by a miracle).
Job done 
Whatever happens it’s been a great WC.
Even Trump couldn’t ruin it!

I’ve got a feeling about Morocco you know. France have had it a tiny bit too easy so far. Yes, they’ve looked really on it, but Paraguay showed they can be rattled.
If Morocco can stop Olise working his magic and hit them hard with the press, I think they can be beaten. I think Morocco have the experience and the energy to have a real go at them.
But France being France they’ll probably end up winning it 5-0 and I’ll have to eat shit.

Well, its 7 - 2 to England overall.

They’re a strong side. Looking forward to the challenge!

There is another thing England has that Norway dont have. Pressure. Its Norways 4th time qualifying for the WC. They have exceeded everybodys expectations.
But i still have a bit of hope!
Its been fun to see them play good. But its almost as fun seeing all the memes and funny reels the next day. hehe.

This is bang on.
In the past, when it came to an important game, we crumbled like an old biscuit.
I don’t feel that with this team. They’re solid mentally.
They’re doing great, definitely.
But it wasn’t unexpected, if you follow football, it’s common knowledge that Norway have a very strong team and have been climbing the rankings recently.
They were once ranked 2nd in the world (93, and 95, although the ranking system was a bit wrong back then - didn’t take into account the strength of opposition).
Around 2016 they had slipped to 70th place. They’ve been climbing and strengthing since.
Now with Haaland and Odergaard they’re dangerous.
I fully expected them to beat Brazil (or at least give them a very tough match), it wasn’t a surprise at all to see them go through, and I was cheering them on.
Bring it on, going to be a great game. I hope we field Burn to neutralize Haaland in the air.

Especially the end… shame it wasn’t Thatcher who took the hell of a beating… she certainly deserved one (or several actually)

Couple players from Norwegian National team staying closeby ahead of their match v England at the Hard Rock arena up the street.
Been really great to host folks from around the world but this is particularly unique to me for a few different reasons I should probably share after the match.

Ya’ll im still devestated over Egypt. Ive been cheering for Argentina all tournament but after that match i feel like F#€k Argentina.
Feels a bit like they killed football with that decision.
