But they create a story outline and then tell the tale. Creating moments is a similarity in writing a book and music. I read conflict and suspense which was very helpful for creating dramatic impact. I think of my sounds as good guy vs bad guys. It really helps me. Atmosphere is the setting etc.

I think thereās more than one ultimate solution to this and what might work for me might not work for you.
There was a time when i tried to finish everything. I stopped doing it because i later realised that i spend a lot of time on shit. Nowadays i record almost everything no matter if itās finished or not. But i donāt try to polish a turd anymore. When i feel like it isnāt working i stop and do something else.
Of course some people like the shit that doesnāt satisfy me but i make music for myself and not for other people.
