Why not delay and reverb at same time

I don’t understand why is not avaliable all the FX In FX 1 and fx2 in any audio track

To processor intensive perhaps would be my guess.

Very likely the processor simply doesn’t have the calculation power to process demanding processes at the same time. Reverbs tend to be especially tricky to program in a way that doesn’t eat up all the resources.

If they ever made it so the mastertrack’s effects were available as sends from the other tracks that would be cool, like the A4 you could then have a common reverb and delay most of the time but use individual ones only for a specific need. I’d be more inclined to use some of the other effects then actually as I’ve never really enjoyed using Neighbour machines.

Thats a very good idea. I bought a delay pedal and a reverb pedal so that I could get the delay reverb sound.

I’m fine with using a neighbor machine to chain reverb and delay. However, I’m keeping my eye out for sales/specials/promos on analog delay pedals, because I do like messing with time and feedback parameters for oscillation and pitch bends. Fortunately, I’m not in a hurry.

I’m particularly on the lookout for the new Moog Minifooger delay.

That’s still speculation.

That may be so, but like I said, I’m not in a hurry and can afford to wait for months to get an analog delay pedal.

I also said I’d be willing to pick up a different make/model of pedal (eg. MXR Carbon Copy) if I saw it go on sale somewhere.

Not much speculation. A retailer or two has been caught with them listed. I’d like to check out the ring mod.

Moog Minifooger - Delay ($199.00)
A Bucket Brigade based 100% analog delay that delivers over 650ms of rich, blooming repeats. Adding an expression pedal to the MF Delay allows you to control feedback swells dynamically or adjust the delay time completely hands free.

Moog Minifooger - Tremolo ($179.00)
A lush, transformative, and unique wide-range tremolo pedal that employs a balanced modulator circuit and Sub Audio VCO… Add an expression pedal for beautiful, hands-free swells.

Moog Minifooger - Boost ($139.00)
A tone enhancing, twin topology boost pedal that allows you to select between transparent VCA or clipped OTA signal paths. When paired with an expression pedal, the MF Boost can also be used as a volume pedal or sweepable-gain boost pedal.

Moog Minifooger - Drive ($169.00)
A unique, filter-based overdrive pedal that employs a classic OTA and Moog Ladder Filter in its drive section for completely customizable sounds from creamy overdrive to cranked tube amplifier. Plug in an expression pedal to add a dimension of tonal and performance possibilities not found elsewhere.

Moog Minifooger - Ring ($149.00)
A balanced Ring Modulator based on the best selling Ring Mod in the world, the Moogerfooger MF-102. Add an expression pedal and the MF Ring creates hands free sound sweeps and octave style jamming, to robotic and whammy effects.

Man, the delay and drive have my attention. Hope demos come out soon.

It’s not CPU so much as cache memory, both on one channel would take them away from somewhere else - although if you’re using less demanding effects elsewhere, I sometimes think it’d be nice to have some dynamic options. Still, neighbor tracks do the business in most situations.

Agreed @Accent. A Moog filter box for less than $200? It will be the best friend of MD owners, that’s for sure.

Didn’t know about these moogs. They sound awesome and cheap as. I’d be interested in the ring drive and delay. exciting. I wonder if they will drop this year?

You didn’t copy and paste this from Moog Music Forums did you? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Anyone nows about tc electronic nova system?

That’s still speculation. [/quote]

Get yourself some Puss(y) action.

Not tried it but the TC flashback x4 looks very nice, and it has midi. I nearly bought one but the vox delay lab was so cheap I bought that instead.

My fav delay unit is definitely Strymon Timeline. Expensive but totally worth it! also, Eventide Space is possibly the best ever reverberator available in pedal form. I’ve sold quite a load of delay and reverb pedals after purchasing that combo.

The space looks nice, I really love my cathederal though, but I’ve already said that in teh pedal thread lol. This one really went off track aye hehhehe

Here’s a 9 min. shootout of various delay pedals - it’s a bit old (2010) but the Aqua Puss and MXR Carbon Copy are included - those two $150 pedals compare pretty well to the more expensive ones, if I’m just considering the sound and not the features:
