Hi,
I was working in a track yesterday and today when i turned on my Rytm, the CP is at very low volume. I put it to the max and barely can hear it.
You can see on the pictures below that even my volume are at the maxium, on the lower right you can see the CP is only a bit on the fader.
What am i missing here ?

Lower left on the screen shows your track level (‘CP Lev’). 
TBH, i never use this ‘track level’ knob, i always adjust by the SRC and AMP pages… is this an error ? What is the best way to adjust levels in mix ?
1 - Put SRC and AMP to the max, adust on track level
2 - PUT track level to max, adjust in SRC and AMP ?

More seriously, tho’… I think the correct answer is that you’ll need to adjust all of them at some point. The sound you want will come from various elements in the signal path: source+sample (which have their own dynamics), filter, amp envelope, distortion, track level (contribution to the buss sum), compressor. The VOL/LEV at each stage feeds the next stage. Each stage will have some effect on overall level, tone and dynamics, so you might need to cut/boost some level at each stage, to get the sound you want.
You kinda want to aim at getting the same level out from each stage going into the next, but this isn’t a strict rule. Sometimes the distortion will sound better if you give it a hot signal and low drive/ain, sometimes it’ll be better the other way.
The AR editor pages don’t have meters, so you have to use your ears. Compare the sound with others in your mix. If it’s too loud, it’s too loud. If it’s crunching, does it fit your production? Etc.
