the main advantages are
you dont need a mixer. just plug in a second sound source and put some flavor fx on it ad you wish
very flexible sound engine with 4 seoarate instruments, ranges from dark gritty tones to fat leads and pats
easy sound design
small footprint
just add a dt and a keyboard (or take something like a bass station2) and you have a full blown live setup.
negative points:
no individual steplength per track
no song mode
overdrive sounds crappy
