I’m only familiar with hardware delays and checked out Ignatius post on aqusmatiq Dedalus delay and am very intrigued by it… seems like a great price too
what other quality delays are out there?

I also recommend the Valhalla, Replika XT by NI, then you have Eventide’s Ultratap, which is more creative. Timeless by fabfilter is also pretty good, but even though their interfaces are usually very good, this one feels a bit cramped.

I am definitely enjoying the Valhalla Delay. Just found the preset called LOFI Dirtylooper. Reminds me of my Mimeophone a little. Wonder if there is a way to get 45 second delays, where it’s constantly looping and recording, but doesn’t play until you turn it on. The Mimeophone actually has different delay lengths, and the longest one is 45 seconds. Probably can be done in Bitwig. Need to read the manual to see how long the delays can be in this one.
But, yeah. I don’t have Replika XT, but I really like my Replika non-XT. Also, if you can catch Soundtoys Effects Rack on sale, I use the delays in that a lot.
