Where to Look for Black Friday Deals on Plugins

Every time there are affordable reductions on software synths I seem to miss out. I am after some MPC instruments in particular.

Where are the places I should be looking?

When found, deals are often posted here:

I saw this price comparison tool mentioned on another site that compares plugin prices across multiple vendors, but also tracks the historical prices so shows you the lowest it has been etc much like camelcamelcamel tracks Amazon pricing.

Looked similar to a metro map with vendors overlayed.

This is pretty good.

If you know exactly what you are looking for, just check the places where that is being sold at (also the manufacturer’s site).

If you follow the mpc thread here there’s always someone posting about it if there’s a new sale going on (for future reference)

Yeah, “I want it so I’ll watch for a discount” generally works out much better for me than “oh that thing I’ve never heard about is discounted, maybe I should buy it”.

What kind of a madman would do that though? :joy:

Yes exactly my thoughts. The AirFlavorPro / Jura / Flexbeat are the ones I am after, but only if theres a significant discount. I can live without them at the same time.

…can’t speak for mpc, especially their sofware side of things…never seemed any top notch to me…

but if ur into plugins, u defenitly must sign up with plugin boutique…

they always run special offers, black friday actions, dedicated price reducing codes, free give away specials…and pretty much all third party plugin companies that are free, not forced to be traded exlcusively only via plugin alliance/ni, can be found and purchased there…

with one click, ur achieving almost daily their latest newsletter mail with constant next new hot deals…

on the other hand, most actual daws pretty much need no third party plugins anymore…in most cases, there’s always some on board alternative, or internal workflow way around to achieve the very same thing…best advice remains always, know ur main sw mainframe tool inside out, get fluid with shortcuts and ur always good to go and fly and get things landed, no matter what…

I’ve just signed up for emails from the places I’ve bought things from before like Plugin Boutique. It does get a bit spammy but at least it’s for things that I might be interested in

I got each of those for less than 40 americanos. All thanks to following the mpc thread here on elektronauts.

Soundtoys has a 60% discount on the whole suite if download their phaser plug-in for free from rheir site.

I hope I can do the same at some point - the price is really high right now - ÂŁ99 and more is not sustainable for musicians who earn 0.0001p per play on Spotify
