Where is this LFO coming from?

I have a dope layered bass of a sine machine and FM machine going on. There are no LFOs or Plocks at all on it. They are comped to another track with dynamix on it. For some reason, it sounds like there is a LFO on the LPF of the FM machine even though there is not. Is that normal for FM machines?

I mean- in FM synthesis the operators are practically modulating each other like LFOs(occasionally quicker)

Depending on ratios of the FM operators you’re going to get all kinds of timbre shifting. Even a little feedback can be quite pronounced.

That makes sense. I didn’t think about it that way. Damn. It kind of throws off the whole groove.
