As a Canadian, this makes me cringe. I know the whole concept of flags is flawed, but what a collection of aesthetic failures this is! Even the Nunavut one, which is only about twenty-five years old, and about as far away from the Anglo-Saxon tradition as one can get in the country, which I guess is not very far.

I like those flags! The prince edwards and new brunswick ones are cool. I think the european thing of having all flags look the same is dumb.

MHTRC and Geogaddi got me right from the beginning, and are two of my favorite albums of all time, but The Campfire Headphase didn’t really hit me when it was first released and I’m not sure I’ve even made it all the way through Tomorrow’s Harvest.
Did the last two albums hit you right from the start or did they grow on you? I think maybe TCH has grown on me enough that I should grab it on vinyl (?), but I’m wondering if Tomorrow’s Harvest will ever grow on me. The inspiration of 1970s-80s sci-fi films seems like it should be right up my alley, but that album is just so dark and cold.

That’s kind of the point though isn’t it? Weirdly I started listening to it again Jan 2020 on the train to work and carried on until everything stopped, and it fit the times perfectly, like some tv movie from 1979. Actually when I first heard it in 2013, it made me think of this film I saw as a kid - Plague (1979 film) - Wikipedia

That film looks interesting. Will have a look!
Headphase took several years before it clicked for me. Save for a few tracks I’ve never felt any compulsion to revisit Tomorrow’s Harvest.
