What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 3)

got two spare Lightning to 2 × USB A adapters.
i already had two of these for a while and they are absolutely solid, so got two more while they’re available.
i absolutely love them — the less we stack USB connections (that is pretty common thing for Apple stuff with Lightning), the less jitter we get. this is the case where such unfancy things are utterly important.
intentions: doing moar music with iPads.

Latest purchase: Novation Circuit Tracks.

Intention: be more intentional with my very limited music making time, and seizing opportunities like when I’m holding my youngest while she naps, waiting for the laundry, or shitting sitting with nothing better to do for 30 minutes…

been trying this one out for the last week or so (replaced a jomox modbase 09 mk2). have to say i’m very impressed - has already made it onto 5-6 tracks (don’t think the modbase made it onto anything that i sent to labels) which is huge for me. hits the subs perfectly with a very malleable attack for the tops. it’s also my first ssf module and i’m in love with the no frills, tons of sounds with a few knob turns ethos. thinking it won’t be my last…

Got another one cos you lot are a bad influence.

Intentions are to have more echoes than Phil Spector falling down a mine shaft.

You should prolly get a third. I mean, if one of them craps out on you then you’ll only have one, and if you only have one, what was the point in having two? Definitely need a third. Dodecaverb FTW!!! :grinning:

Triples makes it safe. Triples is best.

Update: my youngest has no intention of sleeping while I’m playing with this thing. She’s ALL about it

I love my Ultra-Perc! In my live case I only really have two lead voices for anything Perc/synth/bass and it’s one of them. Try it out when you can

great choice, Tracks rocks for that.
if you click with its UI – it’s the most immediate and convenient machine ever to sketch things.

I’m super impressed with the immediacy and how intuitive the UI is so far. I had the OG Circuit when it launched, and despite having sold that a few years ago I was surprised to find there was still some muscle memory for a lot of the functions. Definitely thinking this one’s a keeper.

I couldn’t agree more. The Circuits are such an immediate and fun device.
You can also go pretty deep with them as well as the sequencer is so well thought out.
Let us know how you get on. I still have mine on my desk.

Check out this cool under-shelf bracket for UA Volt interfaces, 3D printed from Etsy. Rock solid so won’t slide around all over the place when changing up connections or from low bass vibrations :space_invader:

Got one for the Audient 14MkII. A most excellent purchase.

Picked up this super clean Porta 05 HS. Only issue so far is a scratchy volume pot for the headphones. Intentions are to mask my shitty mixing skills by printing to lofi tape. I also really like the character of lofi cassette recordings, so there’s that… :grinning:

My first and second 4-track. I loved that thing. I recorded an entire album on the first one. Happy tracking!
