What's your latest purchase & what are your intentions with it? [pics ftw] (Part 2)

I don’t know any analog trance gates. Is that a thing, or am I totally missing a joke? It’s very likely that I’m missing a joke :))

I’m just being silly. If you sing through a desk fan your voice will sound stuttery.

Bought for gaming, keeping for music production.

These are seriously great for on the go Beatmaking. Glad I ignored some reviews. Granted, early adopters justifiably pissed about connection issues I haven’t experienced as a post Update purchaser.

No latency. Planar Magnetic Drivers by Audeze. Stream 2 different audio signals simultaneously (wireless/bluetooth), 5 hour batt life, 15 with case. Vain Glorious.

What a time to be alive.

*Caviat: you need a PS5 to access EQ features.

Is it even possible to scan that comically large barcode?

lmao i feel like whoever did the box layout graphics wasn’t having the imbalance between the elta music logo and the barcode

Awesome isn’t it? That why I have a (slightly custom) double unit :space_invader:

i’ve definitely envied your dual setup 🫣 i had a metasonix setup for a while that i found frustrating and same-y. this is exactly what i was looking for. the way it chews up bass while keeping the low freqs intact is something i haven’t experienced myself before. heavenly :clinking_glasses:

also @DonovanDwyer, i can’t figure out what the middle knob on the right does if you have any ideas?

Is this the Jamie Mellor from Haywards Heath?

You have to have a shark with a frickin’ laser beam on his head to scan that!

Or an ill-tempered sea bass.

I was interested in a Xena, but this showed up locally at a better price.

Intentions to touch that MI fairy dust and lofi ambient through CXM!

I use mine as a controller for the other synths I have and really like it for getting out those sweet chord progressions quickly and that controlling the minifreak with it you can arp the arp.

On my best day, I am aggressively disinterested in ukuleles, so I was more than a little humbled to discover how much I liked the sound of the bass variant… :flushed:

There’s a story behind this acquisition, I feel…

No story! I am always looking for interesting acoustic instruments, and was at the local shop checking out the acoustic bass guitars (I have a really cheap one that I’d like to replace). The store manager suggested trying out a bass ukulele and I was shocked by how much I liked it.
