the design is totally awesome. small form factor, made of brushed metal (aluminium?!?), weight is also important for me so it is easy to carry
Iāve quite fancied a compressor for side-chaining for some time. Donāt strictly need one of course, but thought I was down to just the FMR and the Neon Egg as candidates⦠this one is now added to the list.
Bought 2 rings and got married todayā¦my intensions is to have a awesome future with my wife

I just picked up my 707 Tuesday. I havenāt had much time to fiddle with it, but I have a 3-day weekend starting today (Friday), so Iāll have time to get to know my new toy (early Christmas present)!
I will keep you in touch! Donāt hesitate to ask me again if I forget, Because i wonāt be able to mount the pc and test it until the end of next weekā¦
So far I had excellent results with my former computer : 7th gen core i7 with MSI z270 motherboard. Stability, low latencies without audio dropouts running Ableton 10 on W10, and my Rme madiface XT Drivers are rock solid on windows
Update it and have fun!
Youāll be like one of those people that grew up in an age where they donāt know whatās itās like to NOT have a cell phone
Youāll never know what it was like to not have sample folders on the SD card
i love love love the qu-pac!
I updated it last night; today I am having fun!
May you live in harmony!

ā¦ahā¦good to know, iām not alone on thisā¦
ā¦os version .1.95ā¦hereā¦rev 4561ā¦whatever that meansā¦
got any further fx on board than modulation, delays, reverbs
but i donāt need much more than proper compression, gating, and mic pre amping modeling from it anywaysā¦
ā¦better donāt let her face the fact that ur posting this under latest purchasesā¦
thatās about it⦠and whatever the ādoublerā is.
itās super easy to do sends, though, if youāve got outboard FX and then return to the stereo input channels
ā¦does it do the trick for realā¦?..24 tracks to a sd card in realtime no matter what sounds a bit spooky to meā¦really rock solid stable processingā¦?
what resolution?..48 or 44.1 khz
ever did the transfer from card to computer succesfully yet?
ā¦good to know alsoā¦thanxā¦
Haha well i understand what ur meaning but i would also say she is my biggest supporter when it comes to my hobbies
Havenāt really used it anger yet. But did record 14 tracks at 48kHz for 3 mins & played back on the desk, then removed card & put it in Macbook & played a few tracks to test. No issues whatsoever.
What are you plugging into that beautiful beast?
ā¦wellā¦thatās good newsā¦thanx for letting me knowā¦
Couple of new toys:
DāAngelico EXL-1 - not my pic but I canāt take a better photo than this, and itās the same color (plum). When I first learned to play guitar, I resisted getting a hollowbody archtop as fellow college kids thought you had to get an archtop if you wanted to be a legit jazz guitarist. Iām still not a legit jazzer but as I got older I began to desire that big, bold clean sound that only hollowbody archtops have. $680 thanks to ProAudioStar Black Friday
Walrus Audio Deep Six compressor. Iāve actually had this for months but havenāt gotten around to opening it because I was using the compressor effects built into Zoia and other devices. But lately Iāve started learning the āPegā guitar solo, and it pretty much requires a compressor. Iāve never played with a compressor pedal before so having easy access to pedal knobs instead of software params has been a big help. As Graydon states, āPegā was recorded with a Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer compressor, which is just little square box with a switch - no knobs!
In case anyoneās curious, hereās the lesson on how to play the solo. Iām using the Tele rather than the EXL-1 for this, because itās got strings (.009 gauge) that are thin enough to let me do those bends without hurting my fingers.
