A copy of Parallels for Mac, so I can run some legacy Windows apps. :slightly_smiling_face:

I just sold my Rytm, and got another Digitakt. I’ll now be using the Digitone Keys, Digitakt and Analog Four as my trio. I love the synth machines on the Rytm, and it’s a really nice device, but I find I work MUCH more efficiently on the Digitakt to where it actually makes the difference between me finishing tracks or not. It hasn’t arrived yet, so no pic yet.

Nice end to a Black Friday weekend

My black friday. Bye bye Mackie. Hello Xone:96.

Still waiting for a couple of cables to finish connecting up but I d swear there’s something about the low end of this mixer. Like a sweet round bottom I wasn t getting from the mackie…

No more buying gear until I get that EP out, or get many more gigs. You are my witnesses.

I ordered a AMD 3700x cpu with x570 motherboard.
I plan to run my daw sessions at 96KHz with a tiny buffer setting and tons of real time effets.
Will try to see how these babies handle real time audio

So many questions - How are you routing and working with Analog Drive, Analog Heat and the EHX 2ube? I saw a couple 2ube’s pop up on reverb recently, but couldn’t justify it at the time. Did you have to get creative in routing things into the XONE? I always wonder about using a DJ-style mixer in this way. I remember my Vestax PMC-07 fondly. I probably should’ve kept it, but sometimes you just have to move stuff on.

would love to hear full specs of our computer + audio interface and how it’s working out once you get it going. what DAW etc.

i’m using macs… old macs and at some point i’m going to have to upgrade to either newer but still old macs or just switch to windows. so, hearing how those AMDs are doing is interesting to me.

Intentions: Very bad

Routing is :

Circuit Mono Station > Analog Drive > Ch1
AR > Ch2
MD > LPB2ube > Ch3
AH > Ch4
Space > Return A
H9 > Rtn B

Send 1 > Space
Send 2 > H9
Phones 2 > AH

I had to get creative for creating a 3rd send for the AH. Using phones 2 monitor out for that. It has a dial which lets me select which channel gets sent to the AH.

How is the sidechaining working with this one?
Any good?

You can trigger sidechain via audio, CV, midi, midi-usb or even pedal.
Great flexibility, ultra fast attack and release
Head over YouTube an check the tutorials.
I my opinion it’s worth every cent

Liking this a lot.
The fact you can have a dummy sequencer like Korg SQ-1 sending CV/gate to this Compressor (for sidechaining purposes) is tempting

Yeah exactly! The sound path is full analog and you mentioned sending a dummy signal is completly fun

Could be KORG SQ-1 or KeyStep or even MicroFreak

yeah, like the look of this a lot

I am using the OT MIDI for it but also have tried A4 CV out - both works like a charm

but for CV you will have to take care for extra power supply/solution (battery pack also works)
connecting the nABC using USB to my mio4 let me use USB-MIDI and also power (one cable solution)
