yeah man was in the middle of shifting everything around, got the new lens and monitor stands and nano, was firing off a few shots as I went (more about the dof and the lens those shots, sorry my biz wasn’t plugged in) cable mgmt will be a today job, think I need to fasten everything to the underside of that table top, and also give the side a lick of paint🙏
My judgment will be waiting…
Well it already changed… now a two desk setup. Cable management will be easier when the Ojai turns up. But I thought of you and plugged in the psu’s now lol, as I think I’m settled on this arrangement. Edit record monitor / play fun.
I like your headphone storage solution!
On second thought my judgment has turned into acceptance and that acceptance into awe. Steller creative space. So much good energy to be had, and what a view!
Plus Carl Sagan in the house!
Drool… (the view)
Bokehlicious!
Where did you get that stool?
You know, I spotted it at work once, and just thought it was perfect. I work at an events centre, so it got left behind. But I looked up the brand and turns out it was a hairdressing thing. So I drove out to this industrial area and bought one. It’s great! Hairdressers know great stools! Lol. It’s referred to as a ‘cutting stool’.
Just ordered a floppy drive emulator for my K5000w. Intentions are to start using this beast more, which up until now has taken up valuable space in my setup (and maybe actually start learning additive synthesis)…
I’ve bought more that I should lately. A Mother-32 and a Boomstar 8106 MKII are the latest acquisitions. No real intentions other than great sonic textures and fun sequencer.
Before those , my last purchase was a couple of bass guitars and accessories. Bass lessons have done more for my music than any gear I’ve ever bought.
Don’t say that! I had a bass when I was 15 and my sister took it because I wasn’t playing it. Have missed it a bit in my adulthood.
Decided I want to haul my DN around sometimes, so I got this guy. I’d love to put a power bank in the front, with a power inlet in the back or some such.
What made you sell it, and what did you miss that brought you back?
bought a subwoofer isolation platform DIY style. concrete paver + close cell foam insulation panel. under $20
Sold it because I stopped making new patches, needed to fund a new guitar that was actually needed for paying gigs, and thought I was going back to using a regular pedalboard. I realized if I put a little more work in, Zoia can replace the whole pedalboard. Also, I go through phases where I think I’m done messing around with my electronic music stuff and I just sell everything. Trying not to do that this time. Going to make myself finish some music and release it. Just going to enjoy relearning and enjoy the process. Rock and roll will always be there waiting, no need to sell everything. Part of me enjoys the actual selling, packaging, shipping part though. It’s hard to really lose a lot of money on the stuff I have now. Lots of reasons, to answer your question.
Is that an Analog Case or some other brand?
How do you like having a sub?
I have HS7 monitors and I’ve been thinking of adding HS8S sub to them. I really want to hear those low freqs from Rytm and my octave pedals! But I only have a small, no doubt acoustically terrible, room and it’s probably overkill
Yes, it’s an Analog. I hadn’t actually heard of them previously, but the build is nice, and it’s very light. I like it.
