What's the scope of pitch bend (etc) modulation setup?

What’s the scope of this feature? Does it affect the assigned parameters of all tracks at once?

It is a part of the SOUND parameters. So it is affects that sound only.

Ah yeah, that makes sense. So per sound and if a sound is only on a single track then effectively it’s per track.

Thanks

Yeah tried it last night, works great. The only fly in the ointment is that pitch bend is the only bipolar control but Syntakt obeys the actual pitch bend data and the sound changes in pitch, as you would expect. Still, the fact the others are unipolar can be worked around and the (new to 1.4, I think) key tracking is also a cool feature.

Can’t you specify an explicit Pitchbend range of 0 semitones, as opposed to 1, 2 or 12 typically in other gear. So many devices and menus it’s hard to recall if this an option, not near any gear… in any case, it should be possible to burn one of your 4 macro slots with a negative depth which negates the Pitchbend. It’ll be when the value is a negative 2^x (8,16,32 etc)

Ooh! I think you’re right. Will check later.

Yes, you can do that.
