I think a strum feature could do a lot for polyphonic playing on the Elektron sequencer. IIRC Oxi one has that feature.

Elektron could implement it just like that and then make the order available for an LFO. The Oxi One feels like an Elektron sequencer which has more features and is more visual at the same time.

It has more features but actually I found my Digitone much easier and more intuitive to use and sold the Oxi. I’m very happy to sequence my 3rd Wave with the Digitone’s midi tracks. Only thing I really miss is 128 steps.

So, let me speculate:

Elektron does not have a digital flagship synth.
No Monomachine, per se.
so that could be very much on the roadmap.

No contemporary flagship sampler also.
OT2 could be too there. But one can only hope…

Digitone 2 is… not very much needed imho. More polyphony, sure could be nice, but its pretty amazing for what it is already

Yeah I agree with this, I doubt they would do a Digitone 2 with FM synthesis as the main focus. I could see a digital analog synth with various engines, potentially including an FM engine from digitone or something along those lines as a followup to the digitone though.

Ok hear me out, I have a road map for Elektron. After watching couple of videos in YouTube I’m truly convinced that this could be highly successful:

1. Hire Ess (again). Pay anything he demands + benefits.

2. Put the whole Fors suite in an new box. Maybe in two to respect traditions.

3. Success.
