Whatever you do, don’t use acetone or paint thinner, or any derivative like of acetone like lacquer thinner. I know that seems like common sense but I’m going to say it anyways. It will melt off the paint along with the adhesive.

Ask Elektron for rubber feet. Or source yourself some, it’s not that hard to find nor expensive.

yeah, I have a couple kits from MXR guitar pedal that I never paste on it, black ones, nice replacement.
