Browsing eBay for an mpc and this 2500 has bids up to 3000? That’s insane no?
Oh yeah. This worth about 500€ on used market. Maybe because the owner say “Only used a few times” but don’t worth more than 700€ imo

there seems to be multiple people driving the price up. I always thought it was a sort of contract that once you bid it you are obligated to pay. I definitely would not risk putting in a stupid bid, how frustrating for the seller

I assume people drive up the price with false bids to help there sales. Put a pice of gear on that was going $800ish, final bid was $1050. Relisted the next day. Couldn’t agree more that it just waste everyone’s time.

You aren’t forced in to paying on Ebay and can effectively refuse at the cost of reputation really. Do it too many times (I think it’s 3 strikes and out) and you end up banned. I’m embarrassed to admit I did this once years ago on something I stupidly bedded on and regretted immediately.
The fact that the top bid appears to be from someone with no rating makes me think this is just some dafties acting up.
