Gotta say, I just found out Warp are reissuing Auetchres ‘Amber’, which I am insanely stoked about. One of my all time faves. But they’re also rereleasing Tri Repetae and Incunabula, and crazily enough, I’ve never heard these albums until now. I’m not sure how it happened, I kindve thought it was Amber, the ambient magnum opus, and the rest of ae 's material was insane glitchy tech abstract stuff. But these two albums are in a very similar vein to Amber. I just had no idea. I’m so stoked about this!

Amber doesn’t get enough love - it’s often viewed as one of the weak links in their chain. I’d agree it’s less startling than almost anything else they’ve ever done.
Their ‘album(s)’ from this year are just phenomenal.
It’s old, but I’ve been listening to Flunk’s Sancuary. I like the melody line.

I went to the cure playing live in stockholm last week, didnt really wanted to go there but i bought tickets with some high school friends. The concert was more than amazing. Next month i will see them again in amsterdam (i Used to be a big fan, 20 years ago), now i listen to the cure 75% of the day, especially ‘the head on the door’ is much better than i ever thought it was

I really enjoyed ‘Bloodflowers’ way back… Had a promo of it where I worked, I ‘acquired’ it when we removed it from the 6 disc CD player! Remember them?
Bloodflower is still one of my favorites, during their bloodflower tour they played songs from pornography, disintegration and bloodflowers. The songs from that album are all about ending something, he usually sings about ending relationships, but because robert Smith is still with his high school love, friends of mine say it is all about drugs. Especiallt Watching me fall (15 minutes of disaster), and there is no if, are my favorites.
I always think it is one of their new albums, but you are right… its an album from a long time ago
Difficult to beat the trilogy… but i like Bloodflowers too. Lost also on “The Cure” Album from 2004 was cool too
Real trilogy is Seventeen seconds, Faith and Pornography (not Bloodflowers as in the video…)

During interviews they usually talk bullshit btw. Every tour is their last one, they have troubles with their record label, robert is busy with a solo album, always the same since 20+ year. Now i read somewhere they rehearsed 97 songs for this tour. I thought… Lets make cds with all songs they play on this tour to prepare their amsterdam concert . At the end they play 50 different songs (feel a little fanboy here, but it only took 30 minutes to find out)

I said if there’s an (album) trilogy and according to a lot of Cure fans it’s Seventeen seconds (1980), Faith (1981) and Pornography (1982) and not the one from the 3H Live show on stage i post because the end of the Live is from album Bloodflowers (2000)
By the way, i think every real artist-musician is highly-sensitive people and in that emotional behavior… all can happens ! (good like the worst) Music with a soul comes from the shit. People need to just like the music ! (If you watch RAY you see Ray Charles is not really a good person… and WHAT ? His music rocks…)
