Lots of darkwave and synthwave especially by Karl Casey

This style is what I want to make for my soundtrack stuff on my Elektrons, Virus and Oberheim synths. I managed to dial in a few patches that get me there. Now to get the drums and mixing right.

Like many, I’ve only just discovered Keyboard Fantasies by Beverly Glenn-Copeland due to a reissue a year or so back. It really is an incredible listen and mad to think this was written 40 years ago.

Timeless yet simultaneously out of time. Well worth checking out. And Beverly seems a very inspiring and humble individual too from what I can see. I should really check out the documentary about him.
