I have a question about the AH FX.
Do the effects of the Heat FX sound better or different than those of the digital or digitakt 2?
What are the differences, if any?

Hi, I don’t think that there are any differences if you’re talking about reverb, chorus, delay, compressor. To my knowledge Octatrack is the only elektron with a different reverb algorithm.
Maybe someone has looked into this in a bit more detail and can shine some light on the subject, but the main thing which is unique to any AH is going be the analog circuitry for overdrive and saturation effects. Also the routing when used as a USB effects unit is unique to AH, and I believe that it can process usb and analog audio at the same time independently.
There are a few unique settings on the AH+FX like warble and bass enhancement, two band eq, etc. but for the most part I believe that the key “FX” are the same as what’s included in the digi boxes.
