I had to put my title in this way because I couldn’t understand why the outcome-relationship. I took a sample that lasted 45 steps at 120 BPM in octatrack. I saved it as a sample in flex memory and placed it in step 1. Normally I want it to go up to step 45 and loop continuously in track1. Everything is ok so far, but one lap goes up to the 24th step and the other lap goes to the 45th step I want normally. Then it goes to 24 again, goes back to the beginning and then goes back to the 45th step I want. Such a loop is formed! However, I always want a loop from step 45. I need to fix a setting, that’s for sure, but I couldn’t find what the problem was neither in the manual nor elsewhere. If anyone knows a solution, please help. Greetings.
consult the manual for info on MLEN and CHLEN settings. its almost certainly something to do with those, if im understanding your query correctly.

Yeah, your master length needs to be 45, a multiple of 45 or INF for it not to reset halfway on its second loop.

This bit usually goes first.
Hello.
No, you didnt but we’ll ignore that for now.
As already mentioned, you need to set pattern settings, pattern length per track.
Then master track to either INF, or a mulitple of 45 (in your case)
Or… set a trig condition so the sample only triggers on the first step. And set your 45 step sample to Loop ON. (Per pattern length can be anything now if you choose this method. )
Enjoy.
Goodbye.
