My MD developed a weird thing and not sure what it is. The rightmost led on the Scale Setup / Track Length is always lit! Even when I select that portion of the track it doesn’t doesn’t toggle but just stays on. Any thoughts what this could be? A short circuit somewhere? Everything else seems fine.
bootup the start menu (hold function then power on), then run test mode to do a hardware diagnostics and see if anything comes up.
also make sure your firmware is up to date, i suggest getting the custom x firmware you can find on here. if none of that works you might and you really want to fix it you might want to take of the faceplate and look around inside to see if there’s any signs of component failure around the faulty led. (the fact that the led is staying on instead off leads me to think its a software issue)
Thanks. Ok I’ll do all that. I’m ok with electronics so if it’s a physical issue I might be able to fix it. I wonder why the software might suddenly bug up though?
