Who do you want getting all excited about the new features within a new product … folk with the new hardware … that creates the sales buzz for the correct target … if the interwebz was full of (many) OTMK1 users going on about how great OT Trig Conditions were then maybe that ain’t such a win for a mk2 launch … I think there could be a brief honeymoon period where it’s MK2 only before we see the OS drop for MK1, to let the MK2 bask alone in all its ‘new stuff’ glow … having said that, it could equally be out on Monday, but I doubt we’ll see it before MK2 boxes are delivered (even just to keep the MK2 buyers, who’ve been waiting, sweet) …

That’s just too maleficent “business strategy”, for my taste. I would prefer to imagine they are spending their weekend ensuring the new OS plays nicely with the MKI.

I’d like to think they’re really testing it on the older units too too - the first AK Overbridge update put my older AK into a continuous restart loop and it had to be sent to Sweden to have its memory flashed.
