Is there a way to have a voice spread out over the stereofield like a piano?
The lowest note on the left and the highest of the right with the rest inbetween.
i’ve been searching in the menu’s and in the manual but i cant find it.

DN2 has a keytracking mod source within its sound settings - try out the pan destination to see how the distribution will work for you … you may need to make the sound pan hard left and then use keytrack depth to take it pan all the way to the right via the modulation depth
it’ll be doable with a few tweaks … but not for the og DN or Keys iirc
Wondering if the panning happens for the lifespan of a note, so for each note, or if it’s applied globally… (can’t test right now)
Doesn’t need much to get in the ballpark - the Keytrack is (unusually imho) set up as a bipolar source
here’s a few numbers, just leave pan centred on the track amp page and let this do the spread - the synth tune offset is to allow you to hear the same pitch across a sequence of played notes (set up a sequence covering octaves between C0 and C10 e.g.) without the nuance of pitch influencing your perception - remove that for the proper sound
you probably want to go less than 8 on the depth for the spread as the piano range is narrower than the midi range
@avantronica does your dn2 have the screen glitch?
It’s essentially a pre-production early unit, I’ve already mentioned this screen issue affected mine somewhere, but I’ve yet to see any similarly affected from the revised QA screens used in the production units. They may exist, but they’re obviously scarcer.
I just haven’t got around to getting it sorted, it’s horrible, but not unusable either, plus it’s a hassle etc
