Has anyone adapted old machines to VESA mount?
I know Syntakt, Digitone and Digitakt have it but not Analog Four mki, Machinedrum, etc
Im asking because I find using a monitor arm much better than a stand for my setup

Rather than drilling holes in the chassis, you’d probably have better luck building something which couples the existing rack mount holes on the sides to a sort of sleeve which has it’s own VESA holes and mounts to the monitor arm. I’ll draw a little picture for visual clarification of what I mean.
Yes, I would not drill them and was wondering if something like what you are describing exists… or some sort of clamp? grip? of any sorts that would work and has a VESA mount
It would be very easy to laser cut 1/8 plywood into a suitable bracket.
I’d bend some metal, or have someone do it. If it’s a heavy enough gauge steel you could sink screws right into it, otherwise it would need some thicker “bungs” welded to the screw holes for reinforcement, it’s under the strain of gravity being suspended and moved about, if possible metal would be ideal and inexpensive.
Keep in mind, I drew it as see through (translucent) just to get the idea across, but it would be sleeved in solid metal so it should be secure as you’ve tied together the mkI mounting points (rack) with the vesa 100x100 on the bottom.
I just did
