Very very small companion mixer for OT

Thanks!

I also had looked at the manual - but was unsure if the monitor feature was available by itself

I use a companion mixer to go along with my Octatrack/synth set up. I am using a Mackie 1402 (Made in USA), this allows me to use the “Solo” function to send to the control room output’s. Whichever track selected as solo will allow me to live loop/sample any selected track without removing from main mix - this is plugged into inputs A and B on octatrack. The other thing i want to achieve personally is to cue up a synth - so i use the “Mute ALT 3-4” output going into inputs C+D on octatack with a Thru track selected, which i have muted and going to the CUE so i can listen queitly to any track (whilst also muting out of the main mix). I am currently on the hunt for the same functionality in a smaller footprint, the 1202 (Made in USA) or the Mackie 802 (current model) similar size will also achieve… The little Bastl BESTIE is close to what i want, but also no Mic Pre/Phantom Power (Phantom not essential for me) but also does not have a mute and CUE. An opportunity for a great desktop mixer appears!

Yeah, nth-ing the Bluebox as functionally superb, compact and very well built in my experience.
