Very odd midi behaviour going out--resolved- silly USER being stupid regarding his own midi map on receiving device

this is probably obvious

why can’t the chromatic kbd in OT send midi out via the midi cable? i can sequence something fine but it will not actually play the device if i use OT keys

midi trig channels 1-8

and i set the receiving device to all and i have had it set to 1 thru 8

In audio mode or midi mode?
In audio mode, if one of the midi tracks share the same midi channel as an audio track, you can’t send midi with that audio track.

I knew I was being daft, thicko hahaha

I had changed the midi map of the receiving device (drum machine) and the OT keys weren’t playing low enough, man I cried my head off for ages trying to figure that one out
