Using the Digitakt as an audio interface for a modular rig

Hey all

So I’m having a funny issue and I’m not sure if it’s due to user error or something obvious I’m doing wrong.
I use the digitakt with overbridge as my main audio interface for my laptop when I want to record. I have a 6U modular case that I control with the digitakt (with a midi to CV module) and then have a rides in the storm CON module to lower the modular signal from mod level to line level.

When I send this into the digitakt I notice that if I increase the levels coming from the modular it causes a noticable dip in volume for the other sounds coming from the digitakt itself. It’s almost like what would happen when you increase a signal in a passive mixer, the other signals get weaker.

I’ve used other gear through the digitakt (digitone and nymphets) and never noticed this.

Anyone ever experience this and is there an obvious explanation I’m missing?

Thanks in advance for any help

Maybe check your compressor settings.

@gdrv Okay great stuff, will take a look thanks

That’s exactly how my 828mk3 behaves when I have the master compressor on.
