Use M:S as audio interface

Hi all,

Loving my M:S.
Question: Can I play mine using it as a sound card/audio interface? In Mac System Preferences I’ve tried selecting the M:S as the input device, but this doesn’t result in sound going to my speakers - either internal or via my Focusrite interface.

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding?

Additionally, I’ve used an older machine to update the software in the Model:Samples.
I still cannot use it as an audio interface for input and send the output to my Focusrite Clarett 8pre.
Surely this is possible?

If your using the MS as an audio interface the playback audio from the computer would surely be output back to the MS? Try hooking your speakers up to the MS
