USB midi controller for A4

Hello guys

My A4 recieve master clock via midi din fom snd acme-4…

I would like to ask if there would be a way to connect a usb midi controller to the A4 usb input without the need of a computer? so far all the controllers I found only have usb A port

An obvious solution would be a midi merger tool via midi din, but I wonder if would be possible to use both midi din and usb port for sequence and control the A4 without the laptop?

You would need a USB midi host device to take in the USB device data, and output it as USB host data. Most USB midi host boxes just output DIN midi, I’m not sure of any that converts from USB device to host.

in that case it might be better / easier to just use a midi keyboard with a midi merger tool…
