i 'm just trying to update the AH,
after about 20 min it’s not even at a third …
i never had any problems with my macbook or C6
any suggestions what the problem could be?
can i interrupt this and start again or would it fxxk up the AH ?

you should wait. it could be that - for some reason - you deactivated the Turbo Mode in C6. Thats why it might take that long. Let it run, dont touch it and if you’re lucky, everythings fine. If its fu**ed up, well … hard to tell what to do next. If you cancel it NOW you would seriously fuck it up, im pretty sure about that.

i tried midi and usb, different cables, C6 and sysex librerian,
also both methods described in the update read me pdf.
i even downloaded the update file two times .
same result…dead sloooooow. still not finished.
good news is: cancelling the upgrade is no problem.
i had to, it got stuck.
when i bought the AH i also did the update and it was a matter of seconds.

now it seems to work… still slooow, but progressing at least…

overbridge application recognizes AH but is crackling and noisy
ableton AH plug in says: wrong OS
when not connected to Macbook, the AH’s working fine
seems not that easy…
I had same problem with overbridge - it is th OSX, in needs Sierra. Simon from Elektron told me a fix is on the way before summertime.
aargh … so i still cannot use it as audio interface… tuff …
