I love the desktop version but barely use my desktop. Really looking forward to the iOS version :+1:

I look forward to this!
It’s great having desktop and iOS continuity, that would definitely bring Battalion to the forefront for synth drums for me.

Will it be Link compatible in standalone?

and if it has sample slicing they are considering for the desktop could be phenomenal!!!

oooh, can’t wait. this will make lying in bed so much better

Amazing. Some kind of larger knob macro page would be cool for live performance on the iOS version.

Wow. This is really good news, made my day. I just love Battalion, this drumsynthesizer is a cornucopia of new ideas and, above all, with infinite sound variations. Bravo!

UA guys -

Have you considered starting your own Discord server? Would be much easier than commenting on an Elektron forum post! You don’t have to be super active. Just pop in now and again. Just a thought!

Not another semi-dead discord server

ah, not on Battalion huh

surely better than a thread on a board associated with a different company’s products!

Can anyone help me here or via PM to route battalion in Logic Pro so that I can play voices chromatically with a midi keyboard? I assume I choose multi-output and setup routing in the mixer on battalion. But not really sure if thats the right path etc?

For playing channels chromatically, you don’t need to set up multi outputs. Channel 1 on the MIDI keyboard is used to trigger all Battalion channels with their based pitches.

MIDI Channels 2-9 are assigned to each individual Battalion channel so that you can play them chromatically. I’m not a Logic wizard, so I can’t suggest the best workflow. There’s this article on how to change the channel of notes in the piano roll: Change the MIDI channel in a note in the Piano Roll Editor in Logic Pro for iPad - Apple Support
