Unable to Change Accent Value (Travel Level Knob Does Nothing)

Hello,

I am unable to adjust the Accent value. I select the accent menu by choose FUNC + F

Once in this menu, I turn the TRACK LEVEL knob and the value of the accent does not change. It is stuck at 0. (Which is different from the default 32 I see in the manual).

The manual says turning the TRACK LEVEL knob should change the accent value.

This behavior is the same on both my Analog Rytm and my Analog 4, both are MK2.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior or am I doing something wrong?

Nate

Have you placed accent trigs on the corresponding track?

I think without any accent trigs it will not change anything. Accent trigs can be played while the accent menu is open. Just press the trig buttons. Accent trigs can be overlayed to other trigs.

It’s all explained in the manual.

Yes, I have indeed placed accent trigs on the track. Even with the accent trigs (lit up RED) and in the accent menu, turning the TRACK LEVEL knob does nothing and the Accent Value stays at 0.

Any other ideas? Is this a bug?

Had something about accent level changes and release notes in the back of my mind. Right I was

From the A4 release notes:

List of changes from OS 1.30 to 1.30B

Bugfixes:

[MKII] Accent level could not be set.

So maybe your firmware version is below 1.30B? Latest is 1.35B …

I am on the latest firmware, but strange thing is, now it is working on both the Analog Rytm and Analog Four.

I dunno if maybe there was a bug, and when I reloaded the projects it fixed it? Or some midi command setting it to 0 by accident… strange…

Anyway, it’s working now. Thank you for fixing it for me.
