TX-6 as Audio Interface - Blend input and computer sound?

Hey folks.
Wondering how to do this:
TX-6 set up as audio interface feeding Ableton on Mac with a mic on input 1. Headphones connected to main out on TX-6. TX-6 set to 2 channel in/out and MIX

So fader controls input - fader down means channel 1 in Ableton gets nothing.

With monitoring off in Ableton, I’m hearing input 1 from TX-6. With monitoring on in Ableton I get both the input 1 and channel 1 from Ableton combined.

If I set TX-6 to EXT I get only channel 1 from Ableton once monitoring is enabled.

Is there some way to “blend” the raw input and the DAW channel? Sometimes you’ll see this dial on an audio interface for example to blend between USB input and sound coming back from the computer.

Alternatively, is there a way to feed channel 1 on Ableton and control monitoring of the raw input from TX-6 independently so that i could mute the raw input without killing the feed to channel 1 in Ableton?

In case anyone had the same question, the new firmware update, 1.2.10 i think, solves this issue.
The 12 channel input/output mode means one can monitor the dry signal on one channel and output the wet signal on another - sliders and mutes then work as expected.

So if a mic is going in on 1, you can monitor the dry signal on that channel (or apply effects, etc.). In Ableton, you can assign that channel to output to, say, external 11-12. Then that level will be controlled by the sixth slider on the TX-6.

Pretty great.
