Twisted Electrons : order not received

I understand this is a one-person operation, but it appears to be the only company that hasn’t delivered my product/gear. Has anyone else had a similar experience? It’s been quite frustrating. I ordered the synths months ago, and although I was told they were built, it took several weeks. They informed me there was a bug, and I agreed to wait a bit longer for the device to be fixed and shipped with the latest firmware. I appreciated that. However, two weeks later, I checked the tracking, and it said delivered, but I never received the package. I contacted the carrier, and they advised having the shipper file a claim. Now, a month later, I’ve heard nothing from either party. Any advice ? Or just wait to see if I ever hear back ?

I’ve only ordered one AY3 from him, that was ages ago. I dont remember any major delay with shipping of that one…

Also, one of the knobs on my MegaFM II was busted, I emailed him for replacements, he sent me a bunch in a couple weeks.

I recommend emailing him again. He can be busy at times, but is a legit operator AFAIK

My experience with Twisted Electrons has always been very good.

As mentioned above, he can take time to reply to feature requests but, as far as I can tell, he always does eventually. And he definitely listens to the user base (I lost count of the number of features he implemented after I asked).

When it comes to repair/orders, I’ve have only had stellar service.

With one man companies, the thing is they are human beings, you don’t know what they’re going through. The person might be severely ill, or have personal issues - like everybody does - and you’re left with your faulty product.

As much as I like to support small manufacturers - and like 90% of the instruments I buy come from small/one man companies - it’s probably a safer option to order from Thomann if you want to take advantage of a strong return policy/warranty.

It’s a trusted company and I have ordered two units from them (TWISTfm and Therapsid) and both was delivered on time with pretty much next day delivery with DHL from France to Sweden. Is tracking says delivered it’s definitely an issue at the delivery company but they might need a claim from the company that made the transit slip. I also had an issue with my MEGAfm but it was bought from Thomann but Alex tried his best to help me but I had to send it to Thomann which fixed the issue for me.

Sad to hear about your bad experience because I have nothing but positive things to say about Twisted Electrons. Alex is a great guy and will help out for sure. :smiling_face:

Thank you for the replies that reassuring that most likely he just hasn’t seen the emails yet. I shall continue to wait patiently and hopefully things work out.

I’ve had good slow service from this one man band.
