Here’s a new video showing a couple different variations on the standard crossfader transitions trick.
too cool!!
thanx!
Thanks!
Splendid! Respect man!
Thank you
Cool. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Your vids are always very clear and easily understood.
That is a great trick for live performances! Easy to understand and well executed vid!
Thans everyone, hopefully some more coming next week if I can find the time.
Thanks Tarekith. That is definitely very helpful.
That was awesome Tarekith.
OT is a deep machine but some of what you were just doing plus some sample chain business and I’m set.
Cheers
When i do all the things you say and do in the video nothings happen in my OT.
I play my pattern and the audio comming from my mopho and blofeld but when goes to scene B nothing sounds
Hello
Can you give a little more information about how you’ve set things up? Many’s the time on the OT that I’ve been convinced I have everything set up properly whereas in reality, I’ve missed something. Could you check all these things listed below?
Are you absolutely sure you have the inputs for your mopho and blofeld assigned correctly in the record set up menu and the track recorder trig set to sample from them ? To check, in the record set up menu (Function A/B or Function C/D, when you press your record trig, do those inputs invert on the LCD display ?
Have you assigned your recorder playback buffer correctly and set a trig on it’s sequencer track ?
Have you set the record length (RLEN) correctly ?
Are the other elements of your mix sampling and playing back ok?
Have you triple checked the MAX and MIN XVOL settings for your Xfade scene ?
Sorry, i was doing the other transition trick, with this new one with the simple loop recording everything is ok.
Awesome trick, now i can mount my tracks fine!!!
Thank you guys!!!
Another question, when you do this trick you can’t change a bank when playing the loop recorded?
just my question . Can’t seem to get decent results… even if the same Recorder Slot is used, the old file is being oddly cut by the new file when changing a bank…
I don’t know what I was thinking back then. It all works fine.
