Nice one. I wonder if delay tuning worth it compared to comb filters…
I guess it is not possible to get 16 pure sine waves when using fx1 and fx2…maybe octaves / fifth only…
Aren’t you interested in using a midi processor? Very efficient! Combining comb filter + amf directly played by OT’s arp is really enjoyable! I also have a 8 voices polyphonic possibility I may try next week.
I also set 2 lfos to shift comb pitch and amf (7 / 12 works well).
I should look into this. I kind of like the challenge of not using one. ![]()
Listening to Stockhausen’s “Studie I” for inspiration.
If so there is another interesting trick : use trigs 9-16 to trigger tracks with track settings, and trigs 1-8 to trigger tracks with different values (plocks on the first step of a Plays Free Track, one shot mode).
This way you get a 16 notes scale you can sequence with midi tracks.
(Planned to do it with ring mod)
Can I buy this?!?
Maybe @sezare56 could take a better photo? I can upload it on one of those made to order shrt sites and everyone could get one. Its iconic!
we could even make koozies for @Kegeratorz!
ot_ring.tif (694.0 KB)
greyscale .tiff and a vector SVG if any one wants to make a shirt
Ha! Appreciate you thinking of me, especially during this heatwave we got cooking! Thing is though, I don’t use koozies. I drink beer to fast to get warm!
I’m pretty excited about the sounds that I’m getting out of this “lo-fi” effect. ![]()
That’s really beautiful!
